Blackbird Blackbird will release "Summer Heart" on vinyl September 28th on Arcade Sound Ltd.

Blackbird Blackbird is the solitary effort of Mikey S., a San Francisco native and bedroom producer of dreamy pop songs with twinkling synth lines and washy vocals. A few tracks on Pitchfork’s forkcast and a self-released album later, and Blackbird Blackbird has been grabbing a great deal of attention. Summer Heart has already received some great praise including the single “So Sorry Girl” featured as one of Drowned in Sound’s Weekly Singles. In Your Speakers described Summer Heart as “unfailingly pleasant in its entirety because of its apparently innate carefree breeziness.” Additionally, his remix of Swedish indie rockers, the Concretes, “Good Evening” has gained some buzz in the blogosphere and has been described by The Line of Best Fit as being “an invigorating aural bath of chill-wave of the highest order.”
