This fourth installment of Riot Fest continues the tradition of bringing together new and historic punk bands and by showcasing a diverse lineup you won¹t find on any festival in the country. Riot Fest stays true to its roots by including punk, ska, hardcore, street, thrash, and indie, proving you don¹t need to only cater to the Myspace crowd to put on a dynamic festival. In the past the lineup has seen punk stalwarts like Band Brains, Stiff Little Fingers, 7Seconds, Naked Raygun, Blue Meanies, and Youth Brigade. This festival caters to music fans who have a strong sense of history, and brings together such strong lineups that Riot Fest is quickly becoming the go-to destination festival for all music lovers who understand Riot Fest¹s relevance in today¹s underground scene. Riot Fest 2008 will take place over three days in Chicago (Oct. 10-12) in a variety of venues throughout the city, including the Congress Theatre, House of Blues, Double Door and Cobra Lounge.
